GURDWARA SHRI KALGIDHAR SAHIB opening ceremony took place on August 21st 2011 in Pessina Cremonese (Italy) which is actually the biggest Sikh Temple in Northern Italy located in the very heart of the so called “Padania”.

The Sikh community in this part of Italy especially: Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Veneto is huge and for they are excellent workers specialised in agriculture they are mostly employed in farm activities, highly rejected by Italian young generations.

More than 3.000 people took part to the ceremony and the installation of  the Guru Granth Sahib  (Sikh’s Holy Book) at the temple, was celebrated with prayers, chants, whisk wavings and petals spread all around.

The principal belief of Sikhism are Faith, Justice and the Unity of God.
